March 14th

for me it's the anarcha-feminist symbol. the 'woman' half of the symbol tells me who i am and gives me strength among a community of radical women, men and trans people; and the 'anarchy' half of the symbol signifies the community, our anti-oppression politics and the struggle and hope for revolutionary social transformation. - Dr. Sandra Jeppesen

The most important Symbol in my life is THE FULL MOON. Oh Yeah !!...(Say it like Ray Charles or Satchmo )

WHY?:   Because when it  arrives  the "Crazies" are out in their cars in full force.

You are driving along at the regulation speed ,minding your business ,when almost out of no where  comes a motorist , right up close, feisty ,            and in your face.  He promptly gives you the  "Finga !!(That is Jamaican for Finger.) Yes ,that phallic symbol. As if to remind you it's Whoopi time ...(and I don't mean Whoopi Goldberg.) .But who asked him ?? By this  time I am so mad ,I want to roll down my window ,borrow myself  from dignity , and reply "just go and do tha -a--t ,all by your little self. Whereupon my husband says sternly "Don't hurl invectives !!"....And that takes care of that - ACB or anonymously read (OUT) loud

The most important symbol to me is to see/hear laughter.

Too me it represents  spiritual well-being which paramount to physical well-being. As we all know, laughter is the best medicine. Best of all its free so why not share? - FNS

The peace sign is definitely important to me. I feel these days I do not see it as mush as I use to or perhaps I just do not notice it as much. I guess what I am trying to say is that when we are against war or violence, we have anti-war or anti-violence messages. Why not incorporate pro-peace to the message? – Estella

To me, a door represents the possibility of choice, you can either choose to open a door or not, or to either close a door or not. In a symbolic sense it carries meanings of different possibilities and about having the courage to move into a new area of your life or closing a chapter on an existing part of your life. - R. Blanchard

You would never know how much I adore this picture. It often reminds me of "M" with her 2 cubs (children) Natasha & Jackie - ready to pounce onto anything & anyone that gets in her way. I wanted to do personal Tatoo of this picture, but decided against it. Enjoy. - Mr. Soobramani

The most important symbol in my life is the envelope.I have a blackberry and whenever I receive a message, whether it's a text or an email, that little yellowish envelope pops up. It lets you know that someone is either trying to say hello, send u chain email or receive some stupid spam trying to sell you some s***!!! hanks for your time – Ralph Frederick

We all know what a symbol is but when asked what symbol is the most important in ones life I kind of get "stuck" lol.  When I think of a symbol, a road sign pops up in my head.  But symbols can also be an act representing a thought.

In my case the most important symbol would be a photos.  An image, its not moving but you can make it move with your imagination and create your own story of what could be happening in the picture.  There isn't any formula or equation to be done therefore there isn't a right answer its just up to you to decide what it means.  So with this I have a picture. – Jane Hedge

To be completely serious, a frying pan. Its what i work with every day in the kitchen. Without them i am nothing, with them i can create works of art through food. thanks have a good one! – James Mitchell

My bed. No matter what happens in the daytime, at night I can curl up in my bed and take a few hours' vacation until tomorrow! – Natassja King

The most important symbol in my life is the Om symbol, the sanskrit representation of the vibration of the universe...it reminds me that the fluctuations in life, the good and the bad respectively, are impermanent...it reminds me that we are all all greater and far more relevant to ourselves and to each other than our job titles and ascribed roles allow us to be...and it reminds me that even in complete silence, the vibration of the universe is constant and never-ending, and that we are all made up of that vibration, however varied the frequencies may be... – Bram Levinson

My most important symbol is the HOME. It’s where you rest your weary head at the end of the day. It’s where you feel safest, can let down your guard, sit back and relax without worrying about protocol or pretence. You should set up your home to reflect who you are, be it fun, serious, or sexy! It says a lot about you so be true to what you put in it. - LM
