MICHAELA DI CESARE

Michaela is a Master of Dramatic Affairs. Actually, she has an MA in Drama and is an award-winning playwright and actress. With odd turns of phrase and witty witfullness, Michaela both entertains and informs her audience.

GEOFFREY LANSDELL

Geoffrey is our sports and culture columnist. He has written for AskMen and BleacherReport. He runs a sports blog called TheCanuckleheads and has published two sports books: Weird Facts About Curling and Alexander Ovechkin.

DANIELLE SAUDINO

Danielle was born in NYC and grew up on Long Island. Danielle attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a Bachelor of Humanities and Arts in Creative Writing, Fine Art, and Psychology.

PAULINA IGNACAK

Paulina is your typical Polish girl, born in Germany, immigrant to Canada, who has also lived in Paris and Japan. It is her ability to never take anything too seriously, laugh everything off and always remain level-headed that simply make her a breath of fresh air in a cold and polluted world.

ROBBY HOFFMAN

Robby was born the 7th child to her parents in Brooklyn, New York in 1986 (no, it didn’t end there; her parents had 3 more). Between fending off her brothers and her loud hearing-impaired mother, she still managed to get her BCOMM at McGill. She started comedy in December 2009 and since has won The Jewish Comedy Festival 2011 and opened for greats like Orny Adams. She is a staple in the Montreal comedy scene and has performed from New York to Toronto. She recently finished her second run at the Fringe Festival. Acting is second nature to this young talented woman- having been selected to showcase for Actors of Montreal.

ROBERT BENT

From a young age, Robert’s had an inclination towards questioning authority and challenging rules.  Of course, this disposition landed him in a lot of trouble growing up.  He eventually found writing to be a more focused way of expressing his frustration (rather than turning over tables).  He polished his prose in the Liberal Arts program at Concordia and now regards himself as a pretty savvy wordsmith…though doesn’t mind turning over the occasional table or two.

A true westcoast girl, Michelle finds inspiration in the beauty of her ever changing natural environment. Motivated by a love of travel, fashion, and the written word she wants to share her experiences with readers in the hope of instilling a perpetual curiosity and love for life

DJAMI DIALLO

Djami Diallo lives in North Vancouver, BC. Her love of writing led her to obtain a degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia, where she enjoyed exploring her Caribbean and African roots in academia and social settings. She has worked in various non-profit organizations for youth with disabilities and new immigrants. Djami has also written book reviews for her community’s newspaper, the Afro News. In her writing, she strives to bring attention to Africa, the Caribbean and issues that affect these societies every day. Joanne is a fourth year student studying Communications and Marketing at the University of Ottawa. She is a Toronto native who has a strong interest in both fashion and writing, and loves combining the two!
